Foodborne illness or food poisoning is a group of symptoms (Vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, etc.) resulting from eating food contaminated with microbes from bacteria, viruses and parasites or toxins produced by some of these microbes. Food poisoning also results from eating food. Food contaminated with various types of toxic chemical or physical substances. Food plays the role of a carrier of pollutants by indirect transmission of pathogens.
